By now, I’m sure your wondering who I am and what I’m doing here… I’m L, a midwestern girl who took off on what I hope to be the beginning of a lifetime of adventure. This spring, my boyfriend and I bought a 5th wheel trailer and he took a traveling position with his company. We moved out of our rented house and into our new (used) 5er in April. Then, the adventure began…

I started this blog as a means of sharing our travels, trials, photos and learning experiences with our families and the rest of the world. Eventually I’d like this work, as well as a few other planned ventures, to enable M to quite his job with no regrets. I hope it provides us with the fuel and inspiration to fulfill our dreams of sprawling remote property, a live-aboard sailboat and a small plane. If you couldn’t tell, we intend to travel the world… our own way
