All right, that’s it… Here’s the scoop.

***First, thanks so much for stopping by. Whether you found my blog on purpose or by accident, I’m happy your her.  I owe you all an apology and myself a good kick in the ass.   Please don’t mind the mess, I’ve been a lazy and unorganized slacker all winter. I’m sorry and I promise to do better… I hope you’ll give me a second chance.***

I sat down here today to try to get my sites reorganized and realized that I have 9 posts that haven’t been posted so, I thought I’d start with those… as I began reading it dawned on me that I was in more trouble then I realized…

  1. MeanderingLife is a mess…
  2. Meandering4Money is also a mess…
  3. my current presentation of myself and my stuff is pathetic and undoubtedly amateur.
  4. It is rediculous for me to think I would be able to keep readers at this rate… I wrote it and i’m uninterested.
  5. In my attempt to be organized I’ve done the opposite and have spread my efforts too thin
  6. It’s time to ditch MeanderingLife  and put all of my stuff on Meandering4Money  after all, I am paying for that domain and can do more things with it.

So, this will be the last post on this blog.  All of my previous posts will be moved over to M4M.  All future posts will be there also.   In fact, everything I’ve done and will do (at least for now or, until i change my mind again…) will be there, someday.

So, thanks to all of you who have read or tried to follow along.  I hope you can find your way over to M4M, I intend to surprise you with all  of the changes and focused effort :)  I also intend to keep you coming back.

See you soon!!

Alien Sightings

Two things happened today to inspire me to write this post but neither of them was an actual alien (UFO) sighting, that happened some time ago…

What did happen today was, as I said, two strange coincidences… first, while searching for a better way to present the “Meandering…Gallery” I stumbled upon this dandy little widget that has geotagged various UFO sightings and links you to their actual reports.

Unfortunately I can’t post the widget here… it doesn’t work right… but, I can link you… UFO Maps
As I was being sidetracked by all of the stories, one sparked a memory of what I now believe to be my first visual confirmation… On the big Y2K New Year, a friend and I were on our way to the festivities when we saw two or three brilliant, blue flashes on the horizon that lit up the entire sky. At the time we both kinda joked about the flashes as being the beginnings of the “Y2K meltdown” but after some of the reports I read I don’t know…

Now for the second strange thing of the day… A few hours later, an old friend of mine wrote me and mentioned that he was reading something about Aliens and the year 2012. Now, I have some idea of what is predicted for the year 2012 but none of what I know has anything to do with Aliens and I’m still waiting to find out what he read (maybe he’ll be brave enough to share with all of us). But, all of this talk sparked another memory of mine…

This past June while at Charlestown State Park we were sitting around the campfire stargazing when we saw what at first resembled a shooting star. Within seconds we realized that it was not a shooting star, nor a plane… We saw 3 lights in the shape of a triangle that moved in unison across the sky. As a unit they seemed to twist and turn a little while gliding thru the air. We watched them for a good 3-5 minutes as they got further and further away before they finally disappeared. There were 3 of us around the campfire (we might have been the only people in the park) and all 3 of us saw the lights but one of us was so freaked out by the experience that he wouldn’t discuss it even a week later. Needless to say, he doesn’t believe in the paranormal… but, I sure do!! And, I love to hear and read about other peoples experiences with things like aliens and ghosts…

Speaking of ghosts, I’ll have to remember to share some of those stories with you sometime… but not right now…

Until then,

Marketing, advertising, and PR

As many of you know, or at least figured, yesterday I spend all day on M.A.P. (see above) and it’s proving to be worth it. Yesterday was our best day ever! and today just might be better :)

When you read about internet marketing, everyone always says the same thing “submit your site to search engines” and, they’re right… But, there are tons of other ways to get free traffic. I found out yesterday that there are social-networking sites for almost anything you can think of: RVing, Photography, Business, Travel, etc. AND, when you sign up you get your own page and are able to add friends… Now, let’s just say you added 15 people to your list, that’s 15 people who are going to see your page . If those 15 people each have just 10 friends, that’s 150 people who are likely to see your advertising, plus countless people who will stumble upon one of those pages in the next few days. That’s some killer advertising! Of course, search engines reach more people over time but, my way has instant gratification… don’t we all love that!

Today’s project: squashing bugs… Hopefully I’ll get them all fixed today.

So, thank you to everyone who saw my effort yesterday. Thanks for checking in on us.
You are the ones who make all of this possible.
